If you’re new here, I have 4 kids (3 are still at home ages: 15, 11 and 7) so it will be me and the three kids at home alone since Robert will be returning to work (someone please send help NOW!).

I’m all about small spaces, so I wanted to create a design for my people with small spaces for you guys to see that no you don’t need a lot to make it work and yes, you can have a work space in a small space.

Let me show you what some wall shelves, accessories, chair, desk, rug and yes a bar cart because I don’t know about you, but I’m going to need all the liquor to keep me sane from what is about to go down next month, can do to create a work space.

I’m no Teacher so you guys already know what remote learning did to my mental health in the Spring so this time around, I’ll be prepared home decor wise and in other ways lol!

I made sure to go with a desk that will fit in a small space and that had at least one drawer to house a laptop, notebook and any other essentials you want to keep out of sight.

You guys already know my thoughts on always working with doubly duty pieces in a small space and I did just that with this bar cart. A comfortable chair is a must and a pretty pillow for some extra comfort. I added a basket for some much needed storage and made sure it was pretty too because if it’s not pretty and functional then what’s the point right?!

Now let’s talk real quick about accessories. They are what put a stamp on a space and so I added a lot of them, but they are not only pretty, they work. I went with a pluggable wall sconce to free up desk space because remember this desk isn’t big and then added pieces that speak all things calm like the incense holder and the evil eye clock (it’s all in the details). Did you peep the eye glass holder? Isn’t it dope?!

Are you still struggling to decorate your small space?

You should love your space. It should be functional and make you feel all the good vibes, but if it doesn’t, then hit me up here for some help.
