I love the look of plants in a home, envy those who can keep them alive, but I am the first to admit that plants don't like me.
I can't keep them alive for the life of me, but that doesn't stop me from crushing on them. If you can relate, you 're not a lost cause. We're going to learn how to decorate with plants and never again have to feel bad about killing them.

Talk about maintenance free! Sometimes you don't have to be so literal. Print out some pretty looking pictures of plants from the web, check out a shop on Etsy for some prints or hop on to one of my fave home decor poster sites, allposters.com for something green. Then frame it and hang. Easy!
Now artwork isn't the only way to get some plants into your home. Try a nature inspired look with some throw pillows, picture frames or even an area rug that either has a plant print or comes in a green color for a quick nature fix.
It is possible to have that nature vibe in your spot without having to deal with watering and talking to plants (I've heard that it really works! perhaps I should've tried it and could've saved a plant or two!) Oh well...
How To Decorate With Plants: Go Fake
Yup, you read right! Nowadays fake or faux plants are not as ugly as they use to be. Some can even play tricks on your eyes because they are that dead on and look real as hell.

Now if you're stubborn as hell and just can't walk away from the real thing, then you're going to have to settle for something that can withstand your not-so-green thumb. For you, your new best friend is for sure a cactus.
