Create a Space That Feels Good: How To Raise The Vibes In Your Home
Look I’m going to assume that you’ve done the inner work needed to heal from past traumas so I won’t get into the real work needed to transform your space, which is really the transformation of self. Your environment is a mirror of yourself – you’d heard me say this over and over if you’ve been following me for a while. We do what we are.If there’s something in your life that you don’t like, whether it’s:
Your relationships. What do your relationships look like? How do you allow others to treat you? How do you treat yourself?
Your money or lack of money. What do your finances look like?
Your physical health. Are you happy with your physical self?
Your business and so much more
You need to look at your environment and see who you are because no matter who you say you are, your environment shows you who you are subconsciously. Why? Because you’ve created your current state, whether you want to admit this or not. So again, let’s say that you’ve done this hard inner work already and now you want to change your environment to raise the vibes in your home.I’m going to give you five things you can bring into your space to raise the vibes.
How To Raise The Vibes In Your Home: Sage/Palo Santo
Sage and palo santo have been used for centuries by our ancestors in rituals and for cleansing. When you light up some sage or palo santo, the smoke released cleanses the energy in your space and rids it of negative energy, which raises the vibes in your room. You can also use it to clear your space before a moon ritual or any other kind of ritual that you want to do.
I’m big on clearing my space and try to do it daily especially if I’m having a hard day or my depression or anxiety is creeping up and getting the best of me. One thing to remember is to open up the windows in your space after you sage it so that the bad vibes don’t stay in your room and can escape.
How To Raise The Vibes In Your Home: Crystals
I love me some crystals and have them all over my home, I carry them in my purse and wear them as jewelry.Did I say I love me some crystals?I’m also one of those people that don’t allow just anyone to come up in my house. Why? Because I’m really protective of my space, my aura, basically the energy around me and not to mention my family.
There are a ton of crystals out there, but my favorite for protecting your space are black tourmaline, smoky quartz, black onyx; basically any black crystal. They protect you from negative energy so I have these all over my house.
Even if you’re like me and don’t have people in your home all the time, we pick up energy when we’re out and about and this crystal protects you and your home from absorbing that negative energy. Some even put one on each corner of their home to form a protective barrier against negative vibes.
I almost forgot about Celenite! I love this crystal and have been using it recently to clear my aura and create a protective shield against negative energy when I wake up in the morning (my husband thinks I’m crazy….yes he does! Lol). I also keep a few around the house to cleanse my space. It’s also used to charge and cleanse other crystals.
How To Raise The Vibes In Your Home: Plants
Plants cleanse the air and energy in your space. They also add natural color to your space with their leaves. They also teach us to care for others because you have to not only water them but talk to them and nurture them basically give them attention. Some people even play music for them.
If you want to bring in plants into your home, but they intimidate you, start with a beginner plant like a pothos, aloe or snake plant. Check out this post here on how to decorate with plants even if you suck at keeping them alive.
How To Raise The Vibes In Your Home: Himalayan Salt Lamps
Himalayan salt is used to cleanse, which is why it’s used so much in baths for releasing things that no longer serve us.The salt from the lamp is no different and cleanses the air in your room. Think about it, our air has so much crap in it from pollution to pollen and God knows what else and we breathe this stuff in all day so cleansing these toxins from your environment is a no brainer.
My daughter has one in her room to help with her Asthma because of this. It also helps with depression/anxiety, reduces allergies, boosts energy and increases relaxation. Which reminds me that I have to get one for the other rooms in the house.
How To Raise The Vibes In Your Home: Essential Oils
If you haven’t noticed already all of these tips that I’m sharing with you all come from natural elements and essential oils are no different.
The common ones for cleansing the air are Eucalyptus, Peppermint, Lemon, but my favorite for the home is lavender, it helps with anxiety/depression and helps you sleep. It’s basically a calming oil. When you eliminate anxiety and turmoil from your space, you raise the vibration in your space.
You can put these in an oil diffuser to release the benefits into the air. I keep lavender oil on my nightstand and use it when my anxiety is through the roof. It calms me down and helps me to sleep. This oil was a daily go-to of mine when I was working my soul-sucking 9-5 job. It kept me sane along with my other self-care tricks.
I hope that you can bring at least one of these tips into your home to raise the vibes in your home because our environment affects our mood and I want you to feel nothing but good vibes every day in your space.
